The Store Made It Through The Woolsey Fire!

WE MADE IT!!! As many of you know, the Woolsey fire made it all the way out to the coast, and did hit the campgrounds. We will be providing updates on the store and campground on this web site as often as possible. This is an update of what we had posted elsewhere.

The campground is pretty burnt, but that will come back with rain in due time. It is closed for now but should be open in early 2019. The store itself survived and so did some of the campsites and restrooms. Thankfully, no campers, rangers, State Park employees, lifeguards or store employees were injured.

Huge thank you to Gil Smith who stayed with Tony to the end!! To lifeguard Johnny Regan who checked on us s a number of times as well as asking the guys form Garden Grove and Laguna Beach Fire Departments to help defend our store!! To everyone who has checked on us . . . thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Thank you to Damian and Amanda for helping us evacuate when we knew it was coming.

We know you all love this camp site and beach and want to stay current on conditions.  We are as eager to get back to business as usual as soon as possible and hope to see you at the store soon. We are still able to sell Leo Carrillo apparel on this web site and have some new designs in process, including some that relate to surviving the fire. Until the store and campgrounds reopen, please sign up to receive our newsletter . . . and if you see something you like on our site . . . we would appreciate your business.

Thank you for your kindness and support,

--Tony and the folks at Leo Carrillo Beach Store
